BANANO GROVE · FAQ
Questions from the grove.
Quick answers about playing, optional crypto rewards, and keeping your wallet safe.
Is Banano Grove free to play?
Yes. Daily and practice rounds are free. No account, wallet, deposit, or cryptocurrency purchase is needed to play. JavaScript and an internet connection are needed for gameplay and server score verification.
How do I play?
Move the basket with the left and right arrows, A and D, or drag on a touchscreen. Catch bananas for +10 points and dodge rocks, which cost 15 points. A round lasts 30 seconds. Daily mode uses the same falling pattern for everyone that UTC day; practice uses a random pattern.
Can I get free Banano rewards?
When rewards are enabled, eligible daily and practice scores can earn 0.1 BAN per verified point, up to 10 BAN per run. Limits are 10 BAN per browser AND destination address per UTC day and 200 BAN globally per UTC day. Funding and remaining caps apply. Rewards are not guaranteed income.
Do I need a wallet before playing?
Not for free play. To opt into rewards, save your public Banano destination address in Rewards before starting a new round. The destination is captured at the start; adding an address later cannot make an earlier round eligible.
Will Grove ask for a seed phrase or deposit?
No. Enter only your public receiving address. Grove never needs a seed phrase, private key, or deposit. Keep your wallet recovery backup private and follow your wallet’s own instructions.
Does a queued claim mean I have been paid?
No. Queued means waiting, signed means prepared for broadcast, and held means review or a sending pause. Only paid means confirmed on-chain. A block hash alone does not confirm payment.
Where is my game progress stored?
Guest progress and claim history are linked to this browser’s cookie. Clearing cookies or switching browsers starts a new grove and loses access to the previous browser’s claim history. There is no account recovery. Server score verification is not bot-proofing and browser or address caps are not proof of unique people.
